What We Believe
“Ethical breeding exists when the breeder puts the dogs welfare above all else. This means their health, their temperament, their home, and their day to day life is more than just a job; rather a top priority!”
Here at Blessed Little Paws we strive to not only breed healthy dogs, but dogs with great temperaments.
Because we know that getting a dog can be a lot of work! Which is why myself and the breeders that I work with try our best to not only breed you a beautiful, healthy puppy, but a well socialized and well mannered puppy too!
Put it this way, you are not going to find dogs in cages all day over here! Our babies are all well loved and invested in. We know that each puppy wants to go from a loving home to a loving home. Which is why we allow our puppies to free roam over here.
You got to remember most of our puppies and many others online have just left their parents. This can be very difficult and emotional on the puppies. Which is another reason why we do not like the idea of caging them up. Because in these moments they actually are in need of love and affection more than anything. They need to be encouraged that they are safe, which is exactly what we strive to do over here.
This is another reason why I like to only work with 1-2 litters at a time. That way each puppy is getting all the love and attention he/she deserves.
How We Begin Potty Training and Night Time Training?
Below is information on Each Breeder I Work With…
Miller’s Family
The Miller family is the most experienced family I have worked with. They are not only some of the kindest people you will ever meet, but they do a great job with their dogs. They breed Pomeranians and are known for breeding the AKC Pomeranians.
The Miller’s actually have around 25 years experience with breeding Pomeranians. When she first began she had her daughter and thought maybe she would take a break. Then when she got back to it, she went all in! She really strives to achieve the standard AKC quality (4-7lb range, wooly coats, short little legs, and almond eyes).
One thing that stands out most with the Miller’s is how much they put into their breeding programs. From an onsite vet that comes to their home to check on each breeding dog, to the careful thought that went into their entire set up for their dogs.
Their dogs are also very well behaved. Which is why their litters don’t tend to stay with us too long. Because the puppies tend to learn very quickly! Many of them actually leave us nearly fully house trained too!
Meet Some of The Parents To Our Puppies!
Below is a photo of some of the parents to the puppies we have here at Blessed Little Paws.
Winston, our 10lb Pomeranian. He belongs to me “Katie”. This little man resides with us. So, everyone will get the opportunity to meet Winston. Winston is our stud for when we breed f1b Pomskys.
This is two of the Miller’s fur babies. These two have bred some of the most beautiful puppies we have ever seen. The one on the left is a gorgeous black and tan point 4 pound Pomeranian and the one on the right is a beautiful orange and white 7 pound female Pomeranian.
This is another one of Miller’s fur babies. She is a gorgeous 8lb golden Pomeranian. This beauty has some very pretty golden puppies.
The Miller’s other lovely lady. This beauty is a 6-7 pound sable Pomeranian. She has produced some of the most beautiful variety of sables puppies-including wolf sables!
Katie’s Family
Hello you all! Most of you have probably already learned a bit about me on the Home Page. However, I figured I would expound a bit more on what I do here at Blessed Little Paws.
First of all, I am an f1b Pomsky breeder. Which means I breed some of the smallest Pomskies on the market. Our babies typically mature in that 6-7lb range. For those who are still confused, an f1b Pomsky is majority Pomeranian with just enough Husky for those beautiful Husky features.
Aside from breeding Pomskies, I also help train and market puppies for 2 other friends/breeders throughout the year.
Essentially my job is to take on litters (after they have been with their parents long enough) and begin house training them. This usually consists of pee pad training/outdoor potty training (depending on their size), socializing them with other dogs and people (so they don’t end up overly yappy/territorial), and night time training. So, that puppy is safe while you sleep. Because the last thing you want is a puppy that ends up biting through wires and getting hurt while you are sleeping. This sadly does happen!!
Training puppies comes with such a reward for me! Because I know how much it helps with the transition after getting a puppy. I have actually had several puppies leave me fully house trained. This is a huge reason why I have such high reviews.
Moreover, there is always the occasional puppy that requires a bit more work. So, be prepared to have to continue your puppy on a healthy schedule. That way things continue to go smoothly.
Like I tell everyone,
“PERSISTENCE. PATIENCE. PRAISE.”
If you stick with those 3 things everything should go great!
