PLEAST READ THE NEXT STEPS BELOW BEFORE SCHEDULING A MEET AND GREET!
Below are the 3 steps we follow before selling a puppy to anyone.
-Thank you!
First Step
Call Me
Lets first see if we have a puppy that is right for you.
This step is very important!
Because we like to make sure where our puppies are going. That and it’s not wise to just buy the first cute puppy you see. It is very important to know everything that you can about the puppy/breed you are interested in.
That being said, this step is done to ensure that the puppy(s) of your choice will be going to a loving home. One that is not only ready for a puppy, but also fully prepared to give their new puppy(s) everything he/she may need.
PLEASE NOTE: OUR PUPPIES ARE NOT SOLD WITH BREEDING RIGHTS!
This is all written on the contract/Bill of Sale. We ask that each of our puppies are spayed/neutered before going into their first heat cycle.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD PUPPIES!
Due to several people in the past reserving puppies for a week or more and not showing up, we no longer hold any of our puppies.
So if you are truly ready for a puppy and see one that you like, please get ahold of me to schedule you for a meet and greet.
All meet and greets need to be scheduled within 3 days. So if you see a puppy that you want and are not available within 3 days, it might not be available later.
We are sorry for any inconvenience in this area and hope you all understand.
Second Step
Schedule Meet & Greet
Lets see how you and puppy do together.
The second step is scheduling a meet and greet.
This step CAN NOT be avoided!
Because the best way to know if your puppy is going to be a good fit for your home is by spending time with the puppy. Therefore, we highly recommend bringing the whole family along for this step.
This part is another reason why we prefer not to take deposits. Because we like to make sure that our pups are going to the right home and that you are getting the right pup for your home. However, it is important to note that how a puppy behaves by us could change depending on your home/schedule.
That being said, please do not impulsively purchase a puppy just because it is cute or “feel” on a whim that it is a good idea.
Because, getting a puppy is a HUGE commitment and not one that should be done on a whim. So please do ALL your research on any breed of puppy you are interested in. Because it is good to know all the pros and cons well in advance before purchasing any puppy/dog.
Also, keep in mind that the puppy you choose could go through temperament changes as they grow and each puppy can be different after leaving.
Typically we do not have issues in this area, however we are not God and therefore can not predict the future. We just ask that each of you make sure this is a decision you are without a doubt ready for.
Also, try to be patient and understanding that this is just as big of a deal for your puppy as it is for you.
Third Step
Payment
Lets go over our payment options.
If you decide to take the final step, it’s important to note our payment options.
Currently we only accept cash. As we have been seeing a great deal of scamming with checks and a lot of the cash apps. That and we recently learned that PayPal can with hold funds.
So to avoid any inconveniences or scamming, we only accept cash. We also provide a contract/bill of sale with each puppy we sell. For both your records and ours.
***PLEASE NOTE: Puppies are non-refundable. Once you take possession of your new puppy, that puppy is now your responsibility to love and care for. I am sure the majority of you understand this part. However, you would be surprised how many people think getting a new puppy is like trying on clothes that you can easily return. That is not the mindset we want over here.
Our goal is to make sure each puppy is fully LOVED. Which means we have to hold each new home accountable in doing everything that you can in means of essential needs, proper care, training, vetting, medical expenses, affection, and even exercise. We all got to remember that getting a new puppy is like getting a new family member. It is a LIFE LONG commitment between you and your new puppy. It is also a huge responsibility! If this idea does not sit right with you, I highly encourage you to refrain from getting a puppy.
Thank you for understanding!
Health Guarantee
Our Commitment
How our guarantee works.
Each of our puppies leave us with a 1 year health guarantee. This means if your new puppy were to die of a “life threatening genetic diseases” within the first year, we would replace your puppy for you.
It does not mean that your next puppy would be from the same parents or that your next puppy would look the same. As we are not God and some of our breeding dogs retire. Therefore it would be impossible to commit to that.
Furthermore, this guarantee is to ensure that your puppy is free from any genetic “life threatening diseases”. For example: Heart disease and other diseases that cause a puppy to leave us within the first year.
This does not include things that a puppy can contract from outdoors, other environments, or in their new home.
For example: Parasites, giardia, fleas, ticks, viruses, infections, poor diet (which can cause many issues), collapsed trachea (which can be caused by walking a dog improperly), luxating patella, low blood sugar (which can happen from not properly feeding puppy or over exercion), toxicity (which can happen from a dog getting into things and can also lead up to other serious illnesses if not properly dealt with), and many other ailments that can come on when a puppy is not properly watched, cared for, or their environment is unsafe.
This is why it is VERY important to keep an eye on your new puppy at all times! As even something as small as eating the grass can be an issue later.
What all is Invested into Our Puppies?
Here is a break down of what all we invest into our puppies here at Blessed Little Paws. We feel its important to note that while puppies cost money, they require more time and energy than anything. As we know that getting a puppy is exciting, but we also know its a great deal of work. Which is why we like to do everything we can to give you a great transition!
